BIOGRAPHY
"When I look
around as the forth person, I would see those things in my painting."
- Liu Xiu
Liu Xiu never observes the world as the first person or beholder. He
always stands far away and observes things quietly as the forth person.
He never takes part in and never discuss. He also does not criticize
or have any stand. He only describes the essence of things directly
through his works.
When people are facing happenings, they always criticize things by first
impressions according to their personal experiences, personal emotions,
personalities, and social moral judgments. Liu endeavors to eliminate
this kind of criticism. He tries to come off the state of human and
stands on the position beyond "You", "Me" and "Him/Her". In addition,
he uses his humorous style to put the happenings and problems on his
painting without any analysis.
