Su Bi Lian said, "We are tiny things, which always dreams. The little beings around us are sleeping. In the static world, we savor the comfort of long sleeping and become the unseasoned fruits of sleeping people." Su thinks that art is the representation of reality through personality. She believes that visual imageries should transcend the described material world. This belief makes her works full of mysterious fantasy and personal parables.
