Wang's works are created from her interest and understanding of interpersonal relationship and living condition of people. Creation core is the artist herself; this is the further analysis about her living, her surrounding environment, and the question of "Who am I?" In addition, her works also show the relationship and affection of surrounding environment and existing individual. As she is a female artist living in both China and United States, she always ponders over all these matters. Many ideas of her works base on sociology and anthropology; they are formed in the process of experiencing Chinese and Western cultures, and, myths and tales in different cultures. Indeed, she hopes that people can express their vivid personalities, their social status and the affection on human nature brought by happenings in their daily life.
