Flies - solo exhibition of Wu Xue Period: 13 ~ 27.5.2008 Fickleness, loneliness, confusions and virtualization are commonly found in modern people. The artist, Wu Xue uses a flower as a symbol of modern people, especially women, who enjoy and seek crazily for materials. They do have strong desires towards material things; however, their loneliness and sadness are concealed behind vanity. Wu tries to explore where the final destination of our hearts in this metropolis is. Moreover, she simply uses a flash of feeble light to express a hidden hope and ideal. |
